Lucas Group, the only search firm in partnership with The Wall Street Journal has been retained by our client to recruit candidates for the position of IT Manager/Developer in the greater Chicago area. My client is one of the nation's largest full-service companies in the $26 billion equipment rental industry. The company focuses on renting specialty and general equipment to industrial and construction end users. In addition to its equipment sales and rental businesses, this client is the second largest supplier of traffic safety services to the construction industry. Through its nearly 3,000 employees at 130 locations in 34 states, they are a leading competitor in each geographic market it serves.
This candidate will perform and direct the IT functions of the division including the developmental requirements for Navision, provision of training services to the branch, district and division employees, and provision of technical support and customization. Has the potential to be the National Director or Head of Development for Navision Safety Area.
Requirements
-Provide developmental services for Navision software.
-Coordinate activities with division finance department including report writing, program enhancements and full module implementation, coding, testing and customization.
-Manage software maintenance with respect to needs analysis and product evaluation.
-Provide technical support to the branches for all Navision modules.
-Insure optimal interface between Navision and supplemental systems and branch back up systems.
Required Education
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, CIS or equivalent.
Required Experience
-Two to three years of development experience in html, java, Navision or Pascal.
-Navision software knowledge and experience preferred.
