MNGquickie A "heck" to extract the first frame of any MNG file, be it PNG or JNG, and save it to PNG/JNG file, without using libMNG, libPNG, zLIB or any similar library. Purely VB. Included in ZIP are two sample MNG files: One for PNG and one for JNG. A School system with SMS Support I write this program an year ago. It has a cool graphical interface and cool features. It secures its executable and the database both. Before executing and on exit it embed and extracts the database from an executable. You cannot execute the program by simply copying the files to another computer. It captures the students image on fly using a webcam. It also has text message (SMS) support. It can send result to parents mobile phones, once result is announced. Dynamic reporting is also supported. User can also create ID Cards. This program is built as a complete desktop. It runs on start up and can not be shut downed by user. All codes are provided in this package. I m not giving GUI Psds but soon i will open source them too. Please rate it if you found it helpful.
XWallP Simple "Desktop Wallpaper Changer". This program places itself in the "Icon Tray" and timely changes the windows "Desktop Wallpapper" to one of a set of pictures stored in the program directory.This is nice for the ones, like me, that get bored by having the same desktop background all day long. Try it, and you will enjoy. Don't forget to add your own pictures to the program directory. The source code is simple and clear and you can change it as you like. Simple in code, without using any unicode user control and without using any unicode file dialog. No TLB, subclassing or callback involved. Tested on Vista and WinME. To test the code: (1) Compile the code into EXE. (2) Drag/drop to the EXE filename or its icon a JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG or TIFF file (to invoke the program and to display the picture at the same time as a file association would do).
